ABOUT ME

First, welcome! I am Lauren, a thirty something who is a wife for the last 8 years and a mom of a teenager, that lives in Minnesota. Now I am also your new go to friend for health and wellness.

I have had a full time job in retail for officially more than half my life. Retail selling, leading / developing people and visual merchandising have always been passions and strengths of mine. I fill my cup by supporting others to reach their fullest potential every day for a living, achieving both professional goals and personal goals they set for themselves.

I have always been passionate about personal growth and self development. Investing in others has always been the easy part for me - Investing in my family, investing in my retail team, investing in my friends. Where I have struggled is making the time to invest in ME. My health, my wellness and making me a better me consistently.

I have had to challenge myself to flip that script and take back taking care of me. I have spent so much time doing what I am good at but not doing all that I enjoy. I am a positive person, I am a dreamer, I am a traveler, I love to create, I love to cook, and I love to be outside! Protecting that space is so important for me to grow and be the best version of myself I am meant to be.

I have spent the last year setting personal goals and divoting more time to achieving my milestones for myself and my own health and wellness. This blog is the next step for me. Documenting my learnings, my pro tips, and all the knowledge that I have to offer to support you too! After all, just as I already shared, my biggest cup filler is supporting others to reach their fullest potential.

I am still a work in progress, no doubt about that! Although I swear by quick and healthy meals, I still indulge in my guilty food pleasures occasionally. Although I have new mindset and wellness practices, I still find myself falling off my routine occasionally. Although I have found an exercise routine for the week, I still have weeks I skip a workout. That is ok! The important part is I know I am making progress in treating my body better from the inside out.

I am a firm believer that if you want something, then actions, plans and habits are all you need to make your desire or goal your reality. You can achieve anything you wholeheartedly put your mind to. Sometimes we all need someone to remind us of that or give the guidance that keeps us on track. I am here to do that for you!
